Joy Ehebhamen serves as Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of NCDF Securities Limited. She is responsible for leading the firm’s capital markets activities, transaction execution, and investor engagement functions, ensuring disciplined deal origination, regulatory compliance, and successful structuring and placement of capital market transaction

In her role, she is responsible for:

  • leading capital markets execution, including:
  • equity offerings (private placements, IPOs)
  • debt issuance (bonds, structured instruments)
    • overseeing transaction structuring, underwriting, and deal execution processes
    • driving deal origination and pipeline development across sectors
    • managing investor engagement and distribution networks
    • ensuring compliance with SEC Nigeria regulations and capital market rules
    • supervising preparation of offer documents, prospectuses, and regulatory filings
    • coordinating with issuers, regulators, legal advisers, and institutional investors
    • overseeing execution discipline from deal sourcing through closing

Her mandate is focused on building NCDF Securities Limited into a credible and disciplined capital markets platform, capable of structuring and executing transactions that meet institutional standards of governance, transparency, and investor protection, while supporting the broader capital mobilisation strategy of the NCDF ecosystem.

Experience

Joy Ehebhamen brings over 12 years of multidisciplinary experience across legal practice, capital markets advisory, and programme leadership, combining strong legal expertise with emerging capital markets execution experience.

She currently serves as Managing Director/CEO of NCDF Securities Limited and previously acted as Capital Market Adviser at NCDF Investment Management Plc, where she contributed to transaction structuring, regulatory filings, equity offerings, and investor engagement processes. Her experience includes work on deal origination, offer documentation, compliance alignment, and capital market transaction support.

Earlier in her career, she built a strong legal foundation through roles in leading law firms and public sector institutions, developing expertise in litigation, legal drafting, due diligence, and regulatory interpretation. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Law, further strengthening her institutional and regulatory perspective.
